Aside from the griping though, it really is starting to sink in that there's a life inside me. The exciting time of telling everyone the good news (and 300 women at Curves as well!) , and many congratulations is slowing down a bit and that's a-ok with me. There's only so many times you can tell the same story and at work I feel like that's all I do all day long. (Not to mention the advice from every woman I talk to!) We've applied for OHP already and are just waiting for confirmation. We've been doing a lot of looking ahead as well in terms of derek getting a new job, getting a 2nd car, and moving to a 2-bedroom apt. It's a lot to digest but I got that superhero mom thing going where I will make it work no matter what!

those other symptoms
Aside from the queasiness, many other symptoms have started to show their unusual faces. I'm congested like none other. I think this has a lot to do with the fact that before I got pregnant I took a mild allergy pill every morning. Though most websites say the the type I take is totally fine, I've been limiting all my pharmaceuticals except vitamins. So I've been turning on extra fans at night but I'm still stuffy all day and even got a minor bloody nose last night. And then there's gas. Sure it's better than puking, but not so pleasant for those around me. I'm also a total lame-o and can't stay up hardly as late as I used to. I couldn't even stay up till midnight on new years. But even though I go to bed early I'm still having a lot of problems sleeping, whether it been the stuffiness of the room, horrendous restless legs, or my arm that's still not completely better. Now see usually I would just take numerous different pills and supplements to alleviate these issues.

try a humidifier at night. i know it seems silly, but they work pretty well for congestion.
