healthcare update
I've been dreading posting about this until we had better news. We got declined for OHP our first application. We make a measly $50 too much. We are cutting back hours, though the main problem was simply that Derek had a couple unusually good checks, and plan to reapply. After talking to the right person at work this week I was able to schedule my first doctor visit at the Marion county clinic, and the best part is that it'll be free. To know that there are options for people like us who just can't get OHP is really really comforting. And even better, the lady I know also works for the salem hospital in fastracking OHP applications so when we are ready we have a good connection to get it done. I've been feeling rather great lately. Still tired, congested, and sore, but the nauseas gone. I've managed to lose about 15 lbs so far, though my belly has grown a whole inch and a half. The cravings are in full force though they are pretty inconsistent. Every few days I crave something different that I can't go a meal without. Nothing too strange, but eating eggo waffles for breakfast lunch and dinner is a bit weird. I will update after Tuesday when I go to the clinic.
